Tanis Martinez is from Carrizo Springs TX. He is a 5 time district singles champion. He received the most outstanding athlete award his senior year of high school (2012). He also received a scholarship to play at Our Lady of the Lake University in which he played all four years for Sal Castillo. In 2016 Tanis along with his teammates won the schools first Conference Title and competed in the NAIA Nationals Championships. He successfully graduated with a bachelors in Business Management.
His coaching career began in 2012 when he instructed part time at PH- Meta Academy and coached their for 6 years before arriving to Boerne Tennis. His love for the game still continues as he still competes in USTA tournaments and recently won the Fiesta Open in Men’s Open Doubles. He is happy to be apart of the Boerne Tennis Family.
