Full-Time Tennis Professional
Boerne Tennis Center employed Tennis Professional participates in all aspects of tennis facility programming and management at Boerne Tennis Center, focusing primarily on teaching and coaching for adults and juniors.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
– Handling incoming calls and other communications when present at the facility.
– Create new programing and pickleball opportunities for the community.
– Assist Director with all tennis/management/facility/association-related tasks.
– Maintain tennis & pickleball facility including office, and courts.
– Responding to all email and phone calls in a timely fashion.
– Marketing the tennis program and membership services to the community and all prospective members and participants via social media, website, and traditional marketing (flyers, etc.).
Minor Duties and Responsibilities
– Running Point of Sale transactions.
– Being punctual (arriving at least 15mins prior to official work start time).
– Provide coverage when requesting time-off.
– Maintain condition of own equipment including stringing your own racquets.
– Work individually within a team structure.
– Maintain accurate payroll records.
– Maintain accurate court reservation records.
Qualifications for the Job
– High school diploma or associate degree. Bachelors’ degree preferred.
– Tennis teaching certification required.
– Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
– Warm personality with strong communication skills.
– Ability to work well under limited supervision.
– Great communication skills.
– Have a valid driver license

Head Pickleball Professional
Boerne Tennis Center employed head pickleball professional participates in all aspects of tennis facility programming and management at Boerne Tennis Center, focusing primarily on teaching and coaching for adults and juniors.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
– Handling incoming calls and other communications when present at the facility.
– Create new programing and pickleball opportunities for the community.
– Determining when additional staff is needed on the court and assisting with the hiring process.
– Assist Director with all tennis/pickleball/management/facility/association-related tasks.
– Maintain pickleball facility including office, courts, and grounds.
– Responding to all email and phone calls in a timely fashion.
– Marketing the tennis program and membership services to the community and all prospective members and participants via social media, website, and traditional marketing (flyers, etc.).

Administrative Office Assistant
Boerne Tennis Center employed administrative office assistant performs administrative and routine clerical tasks. Their responsibilities may include organizing and managing files, acting as receptionists, scheduling meetings and appointments, and supporting other staff with organizational tasks
Major Duties and Responsibilities
– Handling incoming calls and other communications.
– Managing filing system and adding new clients into the Boerne Tennis Center system.
– Recording information as needed.
– Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
– Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
– Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
– Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
– Organizing travel by booking accommodations and reservations needs as required.
– Handling Boerne Tennis Center social media responsibilities.
– Coordinating events as necessary.
– Maintaining supply inventory.
