Representing the Bulgarian National Team in numerous national and international tournaments, Coach Ivo’s talent and dedication shone through. At the age of 22, Coach Ivo ventured to the United States on full scholarships from several universities. His coaching career kicked off in 1998 in Pensacola, Florida, where he taught at the renowned Roger Scott Tennis Center, focusing on developing junior players for high-level tournaments. Over the years, he transitioned to various prestigious tennis clubs, including the Athletic Club at Weston and the Hillsboro Mile Club, where he continued to nurture young talents and organize engaging events. In 2009, Coach Ivo was appointed as the Tennis Director at the Harbour Beach Marriott in Dania Beach, Florida, before settling at the Boca Raton Swim & Racquet Center in 2013. With nearly 27 years of coaching experience under his belt, Coach Ivo’s expertise extends from beginners to college-level players. His coaching philosophy emphasizes patience, persistence, and building lasting relationships with his clients. A true tennis enthusiast, Coach Ivo’s skills go beyond coaching; he is well-versed in court maintenance, stringing racquets, and operating heavy equipment. Notably, he had the privilege of working with top-ranking player Grigor Dimitrov, ranked #3 in the World ATP in 2018.
