Valerie Navarro-Cavazos is from San Antonio Texas. She is a four time district singles champion, region champion, and UIL state runner up call. She became the first tennis player in her schools history to advance to the UIL state tournament and the first from the San Antonio ISD. Navarro-Cavazos was named 2019 San Antonio Express-news girls tennis player of the year. In 2020 she was featured in the March 2020 issue of inside tennis magazine under the women’s singles division with a ranking of eight, and under the women’s double division with a ranking of fourth.
Valerie was introduced to tennis in 2010 by the Andy Roddick foundation, which she had the pleasure of being coached by no other than Coach Kuda till 2018.
During her collegiate career, she played for St. Mary’s University and our Lady of the Lake university tennis teams prior to joining the Boerne tennis family she has been providing private lessons to several middle and high school students. Her love for the game still continues as she still competes in USTA, and UTR tournaments. Valerie is currently pursuing her bachelors degree in psychology at our Lady Lake University.
